Apple Music has revealed it now has 38 million paid subscribers, a gain of five percent, or two million subscribers, in just a month.
Apple senior VP for internet software and services Eddy Cue made the announcement at South by Southwest, where he noted “the world has about 2 billion potential subscribers who have both the access and the means to pay for streaming music,” CNET reported. Cue said between his company and competitor Spotify, slightly more than 100 million have been reached.
